Akkor is a composer and sound artist based in Berlin. Drawing from the stream of consciousness, his work follows feeling before structure.
Alongside his own work, he collaborates with filmmakers, choreographers, and visual artists.
Üstün Yıldırım holds a Master’s degree in Sonic Arts from Istanbul Technical University’s Center for Advanced Studies in Music, and was a participant of the 20th Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin.
His work has been exhibited at Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, Mamut Art Project, and is part of the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection. He has performed at Zeiss-Großplanetarium, Sónar Festival, Crimea Memorial Church, and International Sinop Biennial
